Designed in collaboration with Studio Raphaël Lutz, the Switchblade Enclosure for TOFU offers plenty of space both on the underside and on the top side of the board. Mount any m.2 device or Raspberry Pi HAT inside this flexible case.
The two wings open completely to enable full access to all parts of the board, and the frame offers openings for all major connectors. The closure is assured by a smart and easy magnetic system. To ensure good thermal dissipation, hidden vents have been designed inside both wings.
Ribbon cables, HDMI and side USB ports as well as antenna holes are covered with removable patches.
We want to encourage the makers' community. To enable our customers to come up with new ideas, and to promote smaller parcel shippings, we propose our enclosure in 3 different purchase options:
Files Only: Chip in for the design of the case and gain access to .stl and .step files of the case as well as a list of hardware components. 3D print the case with the printer of your choice and assemble it yourself!
Kit (Files + Hardware): Gain access to the aforementioned documents while we ship you all hardware parts (4x M3 inserts, 4x M3 PCB screws, 2x 3mm axis screws, 2x closure pins, and 2x closure magnets). This kit does not include 3D prints.
Assembled enclosure: The case is 3D printed in 'galaxy black' PLA in our Prusa printer farm, and assembled by us. Digital files are included as well.
